The project required an urban plaza for one of the most popular pedestrian streets in Winnipeg. Working in conjunction with the Corydon Biz, the group of merchants along Corydon Avenue, an Italian style Piazza was developed for the many pedestrians and tourists that frequent the area.

The design emphasized the immediate context of the existing park and brought together the programmatic elements with a parallel theme of a stampede of memorial bisons running through the park, to create a whimsical as well as functional solution to the design problem.
