The Girl
Character Name: Vanessa Canace Fox.
Name Meaning: Vanessa is a Greek name meaning 'a Butterfly.' Canace is also a greek name meaning 'Child of the wind,' and Fox is a surname meaning 'A cunning or clever one.' Placed together, they mean 'Cunning Butterfly of the Wind.' I like it. ^_^

As a Lillim, Vanessa is sweet and caring, and is normally happy to help people, even strangers, which is one thing that makes her perfect for being a senshi. She may not be as physically strong as some others, but she's got a sharp mind and she knows how to use it.
Physical Details:
Hair: Her hair color is the lightest of purples, and I mean really light. If she were to ever dye her hair, which she never would, she wouldn't even have to bleach it first, it's that light. She has bangs that fall on either side of her face, framing it effectively. Her hair is in two long ponytails kind of like Sailor Moon's, except she doesn't have odangos. Each has two rather large gold baubles at the top.
Eyes: Wide in an innocent sort of way, but not annoyingly so. They're a deep sort of forest green color, and while sparkling with happiness most of the time, they display her keen intelligence to anyone close enough to look into them. Thich lashes frame them, and they're quite pretty, or so she's been told.
Face: Heart-shaped and cute, with clear, clean skin, and only small smatterings of freckles on her nose and cheeks if she's been out under the beach lights too long. She's got a lovely light complexion, but she isn't pale or sickly looking.
Build: She's not a 100% knock-out when it comes to looks, but if asked, people would most likely describe her as generically cute, in a bookworm sort of way. She's only around 5'3, so she isn't very tall, and she isn't just a stick, she's a nice wait for her height. She looks her age, if a bit naive and innocent.
Carriage: She normally carries herself in a happy, cheerful, yet quiet manner. She doesn't make a spectacle of herself, but anyone who happens to notice her will certainly see that she's happy.
Standard Dress: When not in the MGA school uniform, she can usually be found in something simple, like a sweater and jeans, or a simple skirt and a cute Baby-T. She likes shoes, though, so she might go all out on them.
Blood Type: Oh, I don't know... Let's say... B.
Gemstone: Diamonds. According to a site I've visited, they are the emblem of innocence. ^_^
Likes:
Figure Skating: Watching it as well as doing it. Ever since she was a tiny little bit, she's adored the gracefulness of moving on ice, and seeing others do it. When she first tried it when she was seven, she was somewhat less than graceful, but she's progressed alot since then, and she's now quite good. She hasn't found the right partner yet, though, and skates alone.
Small, Tropical Birds: There's nothing sweeter to Vanessa than the song of these cute little birds, and she could just listen for hours. She could watch them, too, with their vibrant colors and their behaviors, they can be amusing and funny. She has one herself, her name is Princess, and she's a little pink ball of fluff.
Gummi Candy: Ever since she entered her first candy store, she's loved any and all things gummi, from bears to fruit shapes to moons. There's nothing more satisfactory than taking one of those cute little bears and crushing the life out of it with your teeth. Okay, so she doesn't actually think of it like that, but she still enjoys them alot.
Planes: While instantanious transportation is all very well and good, nothing beats the thrill and exhileration of actually being up in the sky, being able to look down on the planet below and see everything reduced to tiny specks.
Dislikes:
Really Hot Weather: Vanessa can tolerate the cold. Heck, she even likes it sometimes, if she's doing something fun, like skating or having a snowball fight or some such, but she just can't tolerate the heat. She tries to avoid going out during periods of extreme heat, and stays close to the air conditioner during such times.
Getting a Tan: This ties into the above a little, I suppose. If she ever goes under the tanning lights they have at beaches, she's careful to cover every inch of her skin with blocker, so that she stays her natural color. Tanning causes cancer, you know!
Spicy Food: Her pallette just -can't- handle it. She prefers things with a richer taste, or things that are sweet and smooth. No chili or tacos for this girl, no sir. It's all about the chicken and the ice cream and the Leeeeemooooon Piiiiie.
Old Video Games: She'll seem calm and reserved, but once all the doors are closed and the lights are out, she'll turn on that old Vision Cube of hers and go to town, playing Moon Avenger feverishly until she's beaten it, or playing the underestimated princess who must save no less than all of Ariven's moons from invasion in Sparkle Savior.
Hobbies:
Figure Skating: It's her love, and her hobby! There's nothing better than going out onto the ice and forgetting the rest of the world, trying to get all your moves to be completely flawless. The smooth cut of the ice under the blades of her skates is one of her favorite feelings. He favorite skates are dark purple, and she keeps them in perfect condition.
Fixing up old technology: Man's inventions say alot about his history. She's fixed up plenty of small old gadgets that she either plays around with or actually uses. Sometimes she gives her fixed up works away to people as gifts, sometimes they aren't so enthusiastic about them.
Interior Design: Vanessa got her brother, who's even brainier than she is, to set up her dorm room with an over-the-top customized holocreation system, which she uses to change the look of everything in the room, from furniture to floor tiles, on her whims.
Studying: It's a hobby of sorts. She studies alot so she can get good grades, though she could probably make fairly decent ones if she didn't study. She has a thirst for knowledge that's almost unquenchable.
Personality: First things first, Vanessa is really, really smart and sharp-whitted. She can solve most math problems, from simple to hard, in half the time it takes your average joe, and she cant think on her feet, always ready with a plan of action.
As mentioned before, she also enjoys helping people, she genuinely does. Whether that means tutoring some one so they don't fail their classes, or helping out at a nearby animal shelter after school, she's always willing to lend herself to others' tasks, within reason. She won't do everything for some one while they sit back and watch, and she won't do anything illegal.
Vanessa is a true sweet heart, even the way she acts can be cute sometimes. She's kind of that girl-next-door type, but she's too shy when it comes to guys to ask them out, and if one of them asks her out, she'll get all pink and flustered and have to go away for a while.
She can be a bit cynical at times, needing actual proof of most things before she'll believe they exist or that they're true. YOu can't get anything by her, usually.
While she's quite opinionated, she normally won't tell you how she feels and she'll dance around it, keeping quiet. While her emotions may be apparent, it'll take a lot of work to get the 'why' of the matter out of her.
Vanessa desperately wants to belong and fit in, another reason to keep her opinions to herself. If no one knows what she's thinking, they can't dislike her for it.
She can be haughty and overbearing, but only at times. If she thinks some one is being especially dumb, she might get a bit of a mean streak in her, but it won't stay very long.
She used to be very shy, and it's taken her until now to break out of her shell and become more outgoing and friendly towards others.
So, generally, she's a 'nice' person, but she doesn't really think much of herself, and she longs for the acceptance of everyone. She's rather paranoid about *everything* sometimes, but she can't help it.
History: Your normal, everyday man and wife, Jane and Nicholas Fox, brought little Vanessa into a family of 3, making her the fourth member. She was their second child, preceded by her brother, Dorian.
They were barely middle class, and both her parents worked long hours, which meant that both she and her brother spent lots of time at day care, and after that, after school programs, until Dorian was old enough to take care of his little sister until their parents got home at night.
They all received a surprise when, in Vanessa's sixth year of life, some stocks her father had invested in exploded and went through the roof, leaving the Fox family with lots of money that they knew exactly what to do with.
Most of it was invested for future use, and they maintained the standard of living they'd had before they got the money, because it wasn't that bad, after all, though both parents cut back on their hours to spend more time with their children.
Around this time, Vanessa discovered her love for figure skating and never looked back. It became the one thing that made her truly happy, and did it at every opportunity, she still does it today.
When she came of the age, she had grades good enough to get into the famed Moon Goddess Acadamey, a place she'd always read about. She was thrilled to find that they had a figure skating club, which she was welcomed into right away, after the other members got a taste of her skills.
She ran for student government once she reached the senior high school level, and became representative of her year, then decided it wasn't for her and she didn't run again the next year.

NPCs:
Nicholas Fox (Father, age 42)
Nick, as he likes to be called, has graying black hair and the same green eyes as his daughter. He's a thin man, and still quite handsome. He works at an advertising firm, but he's not quite at the top of the ladder yet, there's still some work to be done. Vanessa and her father have a good relationship.
Jane Fox (Mother, age 39)
Jane's hair is a few shades darker than her daughter's, and her eyes sare the same shape, though they're quite a dark purple/violet color. Jane is a very good hair stylist and people come from all over the world to see her. Vanessa's relationship with her mother could be better. They just don't talk enough.
Dorian Fox (Brother, age 17)
Dorian has his father's black hair and his mother's eyes, he inherited the opposite to Vanessa's looks. He's tall and slightly muscular, a bit of a lady's man. He wears circular-framed glasses, and he's quite smart, smarter than Vanessa, even. He's in his last year at MGA. Vanessa and Dorian get along famously.
Scott Conner (Aquaintance, age 15)
Scott grew up in the same neighborhood as Vanessa and Dorian, and he was in her class at school. He was always sort of jealous of how smart she was, and treated her quite meanly. He's just transferred to MGA, and his feelings for Vanessa have turned romantic. She doesn't know what to think.
