The Planet Ariven

The planet Ariven is an extremely large planet, currently the only planet in the Solar Finale Galaxy capable of sustaining life. It's the fourth of six planets to orbit what Ariven scientists classify as a Dark Star, a star that sheds barely any light that gives off immense amounts of heat, hence the Arivens don't freeze on their moonlit planet. Ariven has 12 satellites/moons: Aluvia, Adrori, Nenna, Ulenia, Ribeth, Mendra, Crania, Glalla, Fede, Yalilia, Leilia, and Arawia. At the time of the RPG it is like present day Earth, but with highly advanced technology in some areas. Ariven has 26 continents and could be considered a larger version of Earth. The citizens look exactly like humans of Earth, because I don't want to get into any odd-looking alien creatures here. The sky of Ariven is always the color of Earth's night sky, every part of the planet illuminated at all times by one moon or another. Ariven: The planet bathed in eternal moonlight.

The Continents

Kol - The only continent with absolutely no history of war. Their most prominent idea was peace, which the planet finally gained about a thousand years ago.

Lela - A continent renowned for it's beauty. Their most prominent idea was natural beauty above all. Today, this is still the only untouched continent. It has homes and everything, it's not industrialized.

Kawin - The technology continent. The prevailing idea that came from this continent is that change isn't always bad, but it's not always good either. As well as factories and other machines of industry, it supports a rainforest.

Eru - This is a small continent with a hawaii-style to things. It's still barely large enough to be called a continent though.

Qoli (pronunced KOLI) - The evil continent. It's said that magic and other bad things come from this continent far greater than all the others combined. Today, it supports twelve major cities, a haunted forest, and three mystical forests that have magic in them.

Vau - The fashion continent. Style, grace, beauty, and elegence are everything over here. All the world's top designers are said to have come from here, but the world's most famous designer, Mattheus Iilingrade, comes from Eru.

Layc - A continent full of water features. Every fifty miles or so from any spot on the continent brings you to another lake, river, or other water feature. The most alluring idea from this continent was appreciation of beauty.

Giral - The religious continent. It is where the official temples to the Goddesses have been built, though you can find a few that have been approved as side temples built on other continents. Their devotion to the ten Goddesses extends into the other continents, but is not overly zealous.

Troit - The freaky continent by some, the continent of continual discovery by others. There is every kind of animal living in the forests of this continent. It still remains a mystery how the animals can talk on this continent, but if one is taken to another, it suddenly goes without speech.

Koil - Anything that has to do with metal either comes from here or is made here. Cars, metal beams, components for computers, anything and everything metallic has either been sucked or drilled from the ground here, or was produced here. Of course, other works can be found on the other continents, but quality comes from this one.

Grao - The hokey religion continent. This is where the first monotheistic society still thrives today. They believe in a single god but have so many various offshoots of that religion that it can't really be named a continent with a single religion. If a person of the Ten Goddesses faith moves here, it's a bit rough living with the natives though sometimes they can be quite friendly.

Hoa - The desert continent. The people who come from here are said to appreciate life more because they don't get to see much of it. It's all just one giant beach to everyone who comes from other continents, but to the natives, it's home. No native has gone away that hasn't returned, even the dead ones request burial here.

Hae - These are the scientists of the world, pure thinkers. All Haens either give themselves to science or have a scientific hobby. It has three academies set up, each for different fields of science.

Edeli - The prophets' continent. From here, certain people have been known to see the future. Their brains are hooked into a rock-like device that is also wired to a holocamera, which allows for the future to be seen by one person in all it's intensity, while anyone else can see and hear what the person is going through, if not feel. The device only works on this continent.

Troali - A simple farming continent. They create almost ninety percent of the world's food supply as well as twenty five percent of the world's money to keep those farms running and continuing to get out their crops at a low price so everyone can afford them. Rice is about fifty cents per five pound bag.

Gwau - This would be the noisy continent. Careers that have to do with stage performance are what a lot of people from here strive for, yet there are only five theatres across the whole continent. The other occupations the natives strive for are doctors, lawyers, politicians (they make the government work for the people, they aren't scandelous and are the opposite of the steriotypical Earth politician), anything they can do to help the rest of their community or even the world at large.

Broa - This is the blend continent, where ideas and cultures melt together, get changed slightly to help them fit in, and holidays are half the days of the year. While being the blend continent, some have also described it as the party continent.

Eowu (drop the E and that's how to pronunce it) - The natives of Eowu are drinkers. They aren't drunkards, but they produce the world's finest drinks, both alcoholic and soft. They live to create the ultimate drink that will please the senses while leaving the drinker fully alert and with full capacity over his faculties. This requires a non-alcoholic beverage.

Afugan - The people of Afugan once were the most savage, bloodthirsty people in the world, warring with almost every other continent besides themselves. Today, they still make weapons of war for decoration. Many antique dealers set up shop on this continent. One city, it's been joked, has an antiques shop on every corner.

Jaus - The reading and writing section. This is where every reputable publisher is based and where a lot of mediocre writers live. It's also where the best manga and anime comes from, as well as comics and cartoons for older people. They have never produced any questionable content, meaning nothing to do with sex, drugs, nor anything else that might get someone sued.

Kedoit - This is just a bunch of cities that overgrew and ran into a single city. There is not one acre of land that doesn't have something on it, be it house or highrise. This is also the Wall Street of the world. Stock exchange is dominant here, but other types of free-reign economy can be easily found here.

Vaev - This is the sporty isle. To them, isle sounds better than continent, but theirs is in the top five largest. The mountain ranges provide for excellent climbing and hiking. The valleys have so many sports in them it's unbelievable. Somewhere in the mountains is fabled to be an ancient gym where muscles were created almost overnight. Nobody has claimed to have found the gym yet, but millions have gone searching for it. This continent is also where world atheletic competitions are held, quite similar to the Olympics, but in the name of the Goddesses instead of Earthen Grecian gods.

Falir - Where justice can be dictated and often is, this is the police continent. This is where police and lawyers are trained in their duties. The crimerate is almost null, though there is the occassional offense. The police from this continent are shipped to the others, where the crimerate has been decreasing ever so slightly each year.

Moch - The continent for the rich and famous. If you don't own a piece of property here, you're nobody. If you are a Hollywood-type movie star, you're expected to have a piece of property here within five years of your first blockbuster. Other famous people who live here are Mattheus Iilingrade the fashion designer, Opal Herri the "ice cream guy", and Reginald Hunstly the software engineer a.k.a. The Engie.

Wuth - The wild continent. Animals roam the streets here. Humans and nature get along here, though there are some things that nature doesn't quite approve of but are allowed anyway. There are three types of horses here: normal (87%), unicorn (10%), and the endangered species of pegasus (the remaining 3%).

Hare - The ever changing continent. Nobody lives on or near this continent, but it's been studied extensively by the scientists of Hae. It's lined with active volcanoes that erupt once every two days on the dot. After a day of eruption there is a day of silence. The sea water quickly erodes away the new shores that are formed but the island continent continues to grow at a rate of fifty acres a year.
