1961 Buick Invicta Convertible

I purchased this 1961 Buick Invicta convertible in August 2000. Restoration work was going to take precedence over the Wildcat as it is in better shape and my wife wants her hair blowing in the wind (and whatever the boss wants, she gets). However, with all the additions to the Buick stable, that decision will have to be revisited. Anyway, enjoy!

Car as purchased

Invicta Dash

I hope the clock works....

Door panel

Note the switches for the power windows. It also has a power seat and electric power top.

Engine compartment

The 401 Nailhead. Can you say 445 ft-lb of torque?

Taillight

Driver's side tail light. The dealer was DePape's out of Regina, SK. Anyone have info they could provide on the dealer?

Trunk lid

Trunk lid. Nice Buick emblem. The rear bumper obviously needs to be rechromed. All in due course.

Grill
