Heartbreakers Itinerary January 8-17, 2003
Wednesday January 8-Depart Canada
We depart our home cities on our Air Canada flight to Toronto. We depart Toronto on AC 846 at 7:40 pm for Munich, Germany
arriving at 9:40 am. Total travel time will be 8 hours. Our flight(s) will offer meal service and a movie. Please refer to the following pages for your departure and arrival times. Aeroplan passengers, please refer
to your individual Air Canada Aeroplan flight itinerary.
Thursday January 9-Arrive Munich, Germany
 We arrive in Munich airport and will be met by our Wens Travel tour escort. After collecting our luggage we will enjoy a morning sightseeing tour. We
then transfer to the Munich Platzl Hotel and check-in. The afternoon is free to catch up on some sleep, with a team dinner at the Hofbrauhaus at 5:00 pm.
Tonight we will play Game #1 against the Stiff Sticks in Bad Aibling at 10:00 pm.
Friday January 10-Munich, Germany
This morning we start our first full day in Europe with visits to the BMW
museum, and the Dachau WW 2 concentration camp. The afternoon is free. Tonight we will have a team dinner at the Hard Rock Café.
Saturday January 11-Salzburg, Austria
Today we depart for Salzburg (150 km). We will check-in to the Salzburg Crowne Plaza hotel in the afternoon and have some free time for shopping or wandering through the city. Game #2 tonight
against the EV Zell am See Hockey Club at 5:00 pm.
Sunday January 12-Salzburg, Austria
Today we have optional activities. Skiers will be taken to Flachau
for a day on the slopes, while non-skiers will visit the Hallein Saltmine. Both activities are optional and not included in the package price. Participants will
pay on-site. If you are not interested in either activity, you can enjoy a free day for shopping, relaxing, or exploring Salzburg
 Monday January 13-Vienna, Austria
Morning departure for Vienna (290 km) starts the day today. We will stop for lunch enroute. Afternoon check-in at the Palais Hotel. Balance of the
day is free, tonight we play Game #3 against the Crazy Hedgehogs at 7:30 pm.
Tuesday January 14-Vienna, Austria
Our day starts with a city sightseeing tour with a local guide. The
afternoon is free and tonight we will play Game #4 versus KSV E-Werke at 7:30 pm.
Wednesday January 15-Prague, Czech Republic
This morning we depart for Prague (290km). We will stop for lunch enroute and check-in at the Prague Hilton Hotel in the afternoon. Tonight is Game #5 against HC Kobra at 8:30 pm.
Thursday January 16-Prague, Czech Republic
Today we will have a sightseeing tour with a local guide and a visit
to a brewery. The balance of the day is free with our team farewell dinner tonight
Friday January 17-Depart Europe
We transfer to the airport and depart Prague on LH 3265 at 10:45 am. We arrive in Frankfurt at
11:55 am and depart for Toronto at 1:10 pm on AC 873 arriving at 3:40 pm. After clearing Canadian customs we connect to our home cities.
