We currently have 400 members and 3688 artifacts in our collection. This is
our 23rd year in Austin, and the 14th since MARM was founded. To date, over 30,000
volunteer hours have been amassed.
We are always looking for vintage equipment, books or whatever:
A hands-on area for the more curious:
This area is set aside for exhibits on loan to the Museum. Please
contact the curator for further information.
An amateur radio station has been operated from these grounds since 1980.
MARM Inc. was founded in 1984 by Dave Snydal (VE4XN)
of Brandon, Manitoba.
He recognized the need for this type of facility to preserve this part of our
heritage and tell the public the story of amateur radio.
A host of very dedicated volunteers has assisted in this endeavour and we are
proud of Canada's Only Amateur Radio Museum.
Below is a picture of the plaques which are on display in our main display area.
Founders, friends and life members' names and calls are affixed to these plaques.
MARM is solely operated from donations, memberships and all the very dedicated
volunteers. If you wish to help support Canada's only Amateur Radio Museum, please contact:
