My name is  Lida  Rodrigues  and I  am the owner  of A Dream… My journey in the wedding & event  industry began nearly 10 years ago when I started working in a flower shop that specialized in weddings and event decorating. I was amazed on how everything was done and my passion for weddings began there. In 2002 I purchased that flower shop that taught me so much and began my journey as a business owner in the floral industry.

In September of 2004  I was married to an amazing man &  it was then that I found out first hand on how much time and money planning a special function can actually take. I was fascinated with all the planning, it was something that I knew I wanted to do, so from that  moment on  I decided on starting a new business, a business that was created to help others plan there special day with style and class. I sold my flower shop not because I did not like what I was doing, I loved what I did however it limited me to only floral design and my true passion was in complete wedding and event services. I then decided on A Dream... this is a business that can help in all aspects of wedding or event planning. Planning a special function can get very stressful and overwhelming, there are so many little things that can easily get overlooked.  I have done extensive research on event planning and have many vendors that I feel would be of help to anyone planning that special day.
