From February 29 to March 7, 2000 I broke with tradition and visited the
Dominican Republic. I booked the trip through Sunquest
and flew with Royal Airlines
from Winnipeg to the Puerto Plata airport. From there we took a bus to Playa Dorada
where I stayed at the Occidental Flamenco Beach Resort.
