Where is Springfield? Despite the repeated requests by some alt.tv.simpsons denizens to stop, this frequently asked question continues to haunt our favourite newsgroup. The Simpsons' Springfield, which seems to border an ocean while remaining landlocked, is situated in a state that has both warm and cold climates. Obviously, such a town couldn't exist in real life and fans should take this into consideration when discussing this topic.
