Daniel Craig was born on May 8th, 1984 in the arts-rich city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Throughout his youth, Daniel existed as almost any child would, riding bikes, playing hockey, and going to school. Aside from that, two things were certain: He loved to make a spectacle of himself, and he loved to think of new and exciting ways to start businesses.
A monumentous opportunity arose for Daniel when, at the age of twelve, he volunteered in a street performance that was touring through Winnipeg. It was the most fun he ever had in his life, and after getting a taste of what a real performance felt like, it was certain that it proved to be the spark that ignited his passion for performing.
The next year Daniel worked tirelessly on his circus skills, starting with juggling, unicycling, magic, and stiltwalking. He spent hours reading books and internet articles on crowd psychology and tips on how to be a successful performer. Armed with this knowledge and skill set, he went out at the age of fourteen to perform his first show.
It was pretty bad, but it was a start.
The next year meant more hard work and creativity from Daniel, but at the age of fifteen, "The Dan Show" was created in its first incarnation. Daniel toured a festival circuit for the first time, making progress by leaps and bounds. Daniel quickly became recognized amongst other performers for his hard-working, positive, energetic attitude and show.
Today, Daniel has done thousands of shows in front of millions of people since his humble beginnings and has become one of the top variety acts in North America. His shows are tight, clean, and fun, not to mention his skill set has also grown and now includes acrobatics, contortion and more. He harnessed his longstanding ability to make people laugh and now delights audiences all over the world. All because of an appearance as a volunteer in a touring street performance!
The rest will be history, as he loves his work and show more than anything and never, ever wants to quit!
