The Standards of Practise Committee has reviewed the Standards of Practise for Therapeutic Recreation in Ontario with the purpose of determining their suitability to therapeutic recreation in our province. These same standards have been adopted by the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association as well as the Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association. A recommendation will be put forth to the members at the MTRA AGM on October 25 regarding MTRA's movement ot adopt these standards. Current members only will have the opportunity to vote on the recommendation. |
