Hello, and welcome. My name is Carl Froese and I am a licensed tanner based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, making rawhide and leather by hand with all natural, non-toxic materials. I work with deer, elk, moose, caribou, and bison hides. These are divided between buckskin and rawhide, natural white, or smoked over pine and cedar smoke. I use a wet-scrape method for the deer and elk and dry-scrape the bison and moose on giant frames. I am always buying fresh moose and caribou hide, and provide custom tanning services for your own hides as well. I also offer hide tanning and drum building workshops, bison skulls, and european style trophy skull mounts.
