Hello, and welcome. My name is Carl Froese and I am a licensed tanner based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, making rawhide and leather by hand with all natural, non-toxic materials. I work through approximately 150 deer hides each year, along with about 30 elk, and maybe a dozen plains bison hides. These are divided between buckskin and rawhide, natural white, or smoked over pine and cedar smoke. I use a wet-scrape method for the deer and elk and dry-scrape the bison on giant frames. I am always buying moose hide, and provide custom tanning services for your own hides as well.

I have sold my leather and rawhide to many satisfied customers over the years across North America for many uses including water drums, garment leather, pipe bags, moccasins, porcupine quill and beadwork, pow wow regalia, quivers, drums, snowshoes, and more.
