EPISTOMOLOGY

For those interested in thinking, check an interesting study of Phenomenology and Planning Theory, Ethics and Epistomology in:

An Examination of the Contribution of Two Theories in Planning Thought: Utilitarianism and Phenomenology

This, my Master's Thesis City Planning University of Manitoba, was guided by supervisor Professor Mario Carvalho of the Faculty of Architecture.

The current questions are:

I)    Is there a phenomenology of determining the public interest?

While riding the tractor the other day, here is another puzzle that was brought to contemplation:

II)    Can determining what is right and wrong be derived from a simple question of 'would one live their life over again as they just did?' given life has passed.

Concerning 911:

III)    What about the Crusades and Absolutism and all of the other religious hegemonic ideals of the past? where do they fit in answering the assumed proponents of 911 terrorism? for example, did the modern North American Indian really just give up all of North America for reservations and a rhapsodic change in their way of life? really??

Write to me if you're interested in this kind of discussion...or have an answer!

(Upcoming thinking to follow...)
