TRAVEL
Private aviation has enabled me to meet tremendously interesting
and extremely generous people who share their aviation knowledge and
experiences.
In just a short time friends have enabled me to
enjoy the most unique experience of flying across deserts, mountains, the west
coast, continents, oceans into paradise.

St. Maarten Caribbean Trip 1999
In the early winter of 1999, 36,000+ hour pilot Cecil Sorensen ATP asked me, "how
would you like to fly to St. Maarten?" From this question in the bitter
Manitoba January cold, and having never been south of Minot, North Dakota, Cecil , his wife
Kay and grandson Thad
and I ventured in C-GWNT across the Great Divide to Florida, Nassau, Grand Turk, Great
Exuma, Haiti,
the Dominican Republic and San Juan, Puerto Rico to Princess Julianna Airport (SXM)
at St. Maarten.

Kay's son,
Gordon Sorensen ATP (also an Air Transport Pilot) across the
mountains of Montana, Idaho and Nevada to Rio Linda, Sacramento (Q94).
