Biography

Name: Blair Robillard Title: Facilitator/ Educator/ Consultant Business: Aboriginal games and Activities My goal is to enable people through the original intent of games and activities to live life in health and wellness. Using a holistic approach participants learn to assess and address their relationships with their self, friends, family, team and community. For over twenty-five years I have taught, performed and designed Aboriginal Games and Activities, Nature based, Inuit and Non- Competitive games and activities. All training/ workshops and events are based on Circle Teachings. The Sacred Circle Teachings include our unique and diverse Medicine Wheel Teachings from Turtle Island (N. America). Participants learn to identify and apply new strategies, physical challenges, social opportunities and self awareness to every day life. Key components are developing a stronger sense of belonging, skill mastery, independence and sharing. My workshops incorporate cultural and historic teachings with art, craft, story telling, dance and cultural sensitivity. Sharing this knowledge and my life application of play being imperative, not nice; increases my capacity to educate in a safe, energetic and fun way.
