Jerusalem Ridge will perform on Sunday March 2 ar 2:00 p.m. at the Roxy Theater. You can find out more about these fellows at ww.blueberrybluegrass.com/artists/JerusalemRidge . We had them here a few years ago and got one one of the most enthusiastic responses from our members for any concert so we sought them out and are bringing them back.
Our local sponsors are Neepawa Dairy Queen and Prairie Seasons Bakery.
Our biggest supporter is the Province of Manitoba who covers about 20% of our budget. We very much appreciate the on going support we get from Manitoba Culture Heritage and Tourism http://www.gov.mb.ca/chc/

You might be interested in how Kaleidoscope makes and spends money. In 2006/07 $13,000 was from ticket sales and almost $4,000 from grants, sponsors and donations. We spent almost $14,000 on performers, $2,000 on facility and equipment, $500 on advertising and $1,000 on a variety fees and miscellaneous expenses. We lost $180. Each year we budget to break even but we generally make a small profit which gives us the courage to bring expensive performers.
KALEIDOSCOPE IS A REGISTERED CHARITY. ALL THE MONEY WE'RE ABLE TO RAISE FROM TICKET SALES, SPONSORSHIPS, GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND DONATIONS GO TOWARDS PUTTING THESE SHOWS ON. WE ISSUE TAX RECEIPTS FOR DONATIONS.
