BRYG was formed in early 2008 by Vance Yestrau and Mike Boettcher in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba. Both were born and raised in Winnipeg's North End. Coming from a musical family, Vance started playing and singing at the age of fourteen. He started out playing the bass and at fifteen learned how to play the guitar. In the 80's, he moved to Thunder Bay and played in a band called The Judge & Well Hung Jury. Mike began playing the guitar and singing at around fourteen or fifteen years old. Well, the singing started much earlier. His influences include Burton Cummings & The Guess Who, The Beatles, April Wine, Foghat and numerous other players. Now their paths finally crossed and BRYG is born. Writing and recording all their own material. Check out the Store for samples of their tunes. |
