1st Kirkfield Scouting Group - Annual Family Camp June 18th, 19th & 20, 2010 Norris Lake Campground How to get there:
From the north perimeter take Highway 7 north for 45km into the town of Teulon. Turn west (left) onto Highway 17. Travel north/northwest for 16km. Turn left at sign for Norris Lake Campground. Take first left and proceed to Group Use Areas. Group Use Area "B" is for Scouts and Venturers. Group Use Area "C" is for Beavers and Cubs.

For those who wish to drive out to Norris Lake as a group, we will be meeting at Sansome School on Friday, June 19. We will be leaving the school at 6:00 p.m. SHARP. If you prefer to meet us at Norris Lake, that is fine too.

"Twenty Venturers, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers along with
24 of their family members and 7 leaders enjoyed Family Camp 2008 at Norris
Lake. Although it was a bit cool and wet, that didn't dampen any spirits.
Everyone had a great time! The kids enjoyed canoeing, fishing, archery, leather
crafts, participating in a scavenger hunt, and doing skits around the campfire -
some of them were even brave enough to take a dip in the lake!
