Fall & Winter Camp List

Clothing for Sleeping Outdoors

bulletPajamas, sweats, thermal underwear or clothes just for sleeping
bulletExtra wool socks and a toque only to be worn at night for sleeping 
bullet-25oC or better sleeping bag with a warm blanket for inside
bullet-15oC or better can also be used with a warm blanket inside and then both are inserted into another summer sleeping bag rated for 0oC or better
bulletWe recommend a hooded mummy style bag as they hold the heat better
bulletFoam mat or self inflating mattress only for under the sleeping bag (air mattresses are not allowed as they draw out body heat)
bulletPillow optional 
bulletToque
bullet1 pair of thermal underwear (to be worn under pajamas)

Use a proper backpack as Scouts hike in and out of camp with all their gear.

No electronic games or walkmans.

No snacks or food items are to be brought to camp - food is provided.

Bring a day pack for hikes.
