Burning

  By-law #2460/02 Fire Prevention indicates that open fires will not be permitted in the RM of Woodlands without proper fireguards and fires must not be left unattended. NO BURNING OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED DURING HOT, DRY SEASONS.


Waste Disposal

  No Dumping allowed along roadsides, drains, or other public property. Nuisance grounds are located on SE2-14-3W and NW25-14-1W. Attendants are on duty. Hours of operation are available at the Municipal Office (see p. 7).



Snow Removal
  Snow Removal from private property may NOT be piled on municipal roadsides or pushed into ditches along municipal roads. This is a hazard to municipal road clearing equipment.

Public Notice

Road Allowances

  By-law #2190, being a by-law with respect to road allowances, prohibits the following acts:
- Placing of refuse on road allowances
- Erecting fences on road allowances
- Clearing brush or trees or breaking land on a road allowance without written consent of Council of the RM of Woodlands.

Mailboxes

Any damage caused to mail boxes when snowplowing will be the responsibility of the owner, not the municipality.
