Journey for Sight - January annually
Support this important fund raiser by buying a NEW SNOWMOBILE raffle ticket from any Lions member, throughout Manitoba. Snowmobile enthusiasts from across the province ride for several hundred miles, collecting pledges for the Lions Eye Bank. This year's raffle is for a Polaris Indy Lite Deluxe. Only $3 each, or 2 / $5.
The 2000 ride raised $75,438 and approx. $80,000 for the 2002 Ride!
Note: All funds raised by this huge volunteer effort go to the Eye Bank. The riders pay their own way, or are sponsored by their local Lions. Donations are tax deductible. Click on the link at the bottom of this page to make direct contributions to the Eye Bank, or contact any member of your local Lions Club.

This year is a joint supper with Birtle, & Binscarth, hosted by the Russell Lions.

Canada Day, July 1, is a B I G event in Binscarth.
Events for the whole family all day long...
Pancake breakfast, parade, special museum displays, splash party at the pool,
wiener roast, bicycle decorating, F I R E W O R K S... and lots more.
Tons of small town hospitality. Nothing else like it for miles around.
We sometimes sponsor a physically challenged child to go to the
Lions Wilderness Experience Camp, at Brownell Lake, Northern Lights Lodge.

Santa Day for the kids, Legion bingo and Santas Anonymous supper - early December
Bring a new unwrapped gift for a needy child, and enjoy the pot luck supper, and local entertainment.
Gifts will be wrapped and distributed by the Xmas Cheer Board. 100 gifts donated at the last supper.
Special Christmas Bingo, in late December.
