Hello Again!
It's been a while but here we are, back again with another all new version of FUGR.com! I figured it was time, the old one was up for almost two years and hadn't been updated for a looooong time so here we are. Enjoy!
New and exciting things in the world of FUGR
We've got new original material!!! We debuted two brand new original FUGR compositions just last night, live at the 40 for Ridgefest 5. Broken Hero (aka the angry song) and Billy (a reworked B.O.H. tune for those who remember Bag Of Hammers). Both songs seemed to go over pretty well with the crowd, always a good sign! Our number one fan/critic has even declared Broken Hero his new favourite FUGR song. We also played a full set of covers on Friday night and had the dance floor packed! This always happens to us at the 40 and we could notr be happier about it. Now if only Heidi would see that and give us a week-end of our own. Someday ...someday.
The summer has actually been quite busy for us. We played our first wedding gig(congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Walsh!), made our return to the summer fair stage, debuted at a new venue for us in Clancy's, returned for the 5th consecutive year at Ridgefest and are gearing up for our 6th year in a row at Rockin The Fields of Minnedosa. (5th actually, the 1st was still called Little River Rockfest). All of the shows have been great and we look forward to even more in the near future, hopefully we'll see you out there!
In Other News...
Our debut original CD continues to sell fairly well(Two this week-end alone!) We're actually almost out of the first pressing! Thanks to all who have bought one, hope you're enjoying it.! This fall we are looking to get down to seriously working on the next one. We have the previously mentioned two new songs ready to go and many,many ideas for more. This one will be a full length album. We're hoping for at least 10 or 12 songs total. We also have a new batch of T-Shirts coming very soon. They should be available this coming week hopefully. We'll have them at all our upcoming gigs or you can contact us through the website here if you want one. All the cool kids will be wearing them, will you?.
