How We Are Structured Job classifications for Early Childhood Educators (ECE’s) are based on specific educational requirements as determined by the Manitoba Childcare Program. The current Daycare structure is comprised of the Director, Assistant Director, full time staff, part time staff and several casual employees. Child/staff ratios are also established by the Community Child Daycare Standards Acts and monitored regularly by our Child Daycare Coordinator assigned by the Manitoba Childcare Program. The ratios are 4:1 for infant care, 8:1 for preschool care, 15:1 for school age care. What We Offer

The Center provides 1.25 days per month of sick days. The following paid vacations are available:

2 weeks after 1 year of employment
3 weeks after 2 years of employment
4 weeks after 5 years of employment
5 weeks after 10 years of employment

Salaries is reviewed and is kept in line with the recommendations set forth from the MCCA Salary Scale set by the government.

Positions We Are Looking For

We are always looking for energetic people to work on a casual basis. You must be 18 or over, trained in first aid / CPR and flexible in your work hours. Hours vary, but there is always the possibility of additional hours as staff take holidays or are sick.
