THE HEART OF A NATION

Over the past couple days I have asked the Lord to take me to His Heart. As I was out walking the other night,
I saw that there was a red colored Heart and within that Heart was a Heartbeat pulsating. And as I looked closer
I could see that there were four separate yet connected chambers within this Heart. I knew instantly that each
chambed represented equally important fuctions of this Heart and that they all needed to function in unity in
order for the Heartbeat to pulsate. And I knew that the pulsating Heartbeat was magnetic and was sending
out unseen soundwaves- it was the Power of Love compelling the Lost.

The first chamber was called Mercy-it was filled with compassion and was to comfort the comfortless.
The 2nd chamber was called Justice-it was filled with fire and was a Defender of the poor and defenseless.
The 3rd chamber was called Protection-it was filled with Love to provide covering and provision for the
vulnerable. The 4th was called Restoration and it was filled with Healing for body, soul and spirit to enable
reconciliation in relationships. I asked the Lord whose Heart this was.

Then I saw this Heart take the form of a maple-leaf and I heard "it is the Heart of a Nation". Immediately
I understood that each chamber represented the purposes of the Father's Heart for Canada. That Canada
has been called to Comfort, to Defend, to Protect and to Heal. This was His Heart being formed into His
Canadian Bride. And I knew that it was only through a revelation of Jesus Christ that this could take place.
It was only as His people allowed Jesus to be formed in them that they would go forward and act, speak
and live out of His Heart. And I saw that Jesus was the actual Heartbeat of this Heart.

As I understood these things I began to weep as the Spirit showed me the faces and discarded bodies of
hungry, cold dying children and I heard the sounds of war and hate and I heard the cries and wails of the
lost throughout the earth. I felt overwhelmed by the pain and desparation of a dying world. And as the Spirit
empowered me I began to cry out to the Lord..."send the Comforters! send the Defenders! send the
Protectors to cover these children and these people in Love! send the Healers! The Lord then made me see
that the only ones who could be sent were those who knew and carried His Heart. And I wept as the Lord
showed me how few of His people really know Him. Without a revelation of Jesus Christ, there is no
access to the Father's Heart. His will, His plans, His purposes-they are all found in His Heart.

Canada is a nation that the Father has purposed to carry His Heart and to be raised up as a place of Refuge.
He is calling for the Church in Canada to cry out for a revelation of Jesus Christ, to carry His Heart to
the Lost. Without the Son you cannot have the Father for they are one - Jesus is the Heartbeat of the
Father's Heart for He is Life. As we allow Jesus to be central in our hearts and lives, we can come
together in unity in the Love of Christ and His Heart will beat and pulsate at the Center of our Nation.
