These are my great-grandparents Elen Christine Aslaksdatter Brekke(July 29,1845-1931) and Ole Torenius Amundsen Gaustad(January 30,1830-October 20, 1897), my mother's father's parents.
These are my grandparents Juliette Berthea Sjursdatter Hagland Gaard (August 2, 1880-May 10, 1919) and Alfred Marselius Amundsen Gaustad (January 2, 1880-November 16, 1967) on their wedding day April 19, 1905.

This my grandmother Balchen, Edwarda Henriette Eliassen(January 5,1877-June 17, 1954).
This is a photo of the Norwegian Glee Club Dansar-ringe in Winnipeg in 1929. They are from left to right, back- Dyrejson, Floisvik, Aadne Hoines, Torsvik, Farstad, Landro, front- Ethel Romsdal, Brita Nelson, Dorothy Pallson, Aslaug Gaustad, Lillian Cleven, Agoth Runjem. My mother is the third from the right in the front row. Her friend Lillian Marie Cleven is second from the right, was Miss Canada in 1929. Lil was also born 1908. She had no children. Lil died about 1970. Aadne Hoines is third from the left in the back row, and was always a good friend of my parents.
