Cantonese Chicken Fried Rice

2 cups cooked rice

¼ cup chopped green onion tops

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

2 to 3 tbsp. soy sauce

1 egg

2 cup bean sprouts

½ cup diced mushrooms

1 cup diced, cooked chicken

½ cup diced water chestnuts

½ tsp. monosodium. glutamate

Fry rice in oil until warm. Add egg and scramble well. Stir in remaining ingredients and fry until brown. Serves 4.
