Coq Au Vin

1 2-pound frying chicken (cut up)

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 4-ounce can sliced mushrooms

dash pepper

1 cup red wine

2 tablespoons flour

1 bay leaf

2 tablespoons cooking oil

1/4 cup chopped parsley

6 small whole onions

3 green onions, sliced

Coat chicken with seasoned flour; saute in hot oil; remove. Add onions and garlic; cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and chicken; cover, simmer 1 hour.
