Dr. Lea Stogdale DVM, Diplomate ACVIM

Lea graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Melbourne, Australia in 1970. Lea worked in general practice in Australia and England before teaching veterinary medicine in South Africa and Saskatoon for eight years.

Lea passed the veterinary internal medicine specialty board exams in 1981 to become a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. In Winnipeg, she has worked in emergency and pet practice for 20 years. Lea has taken a special interest in diabetes of dogs and cats, and in complementary medicine.

Lea enjoys and cares for her clients and patients. Her interests also include her feline friends, photography, CBC Radio, reading, writing, skiing, canoeing, cycling and travel. She loves living in Winnipeg, enjoying the cultural variety here.

Silvia Lavallée BMR PT, P.E.T. (Physio-based Evaluation & Therapeutic Rehabilitation)

Silvia graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1983 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy. After graduation she specialized in orthopedics and acupuncture, becoming licensed in acupuncture by the University of Manitoba in 1986. Her special interest focuses on animal rehabilitation. She has completed the Canadian animal rehabilitation post-graduate courses directed by the Canadian Horse and Animal Physiotherapists (C.H.A.P.)

Other courses that Silvia has completed successfully are: Ttouch, Reiki II, Cranio-Sacral Therapy One, and a number of horsemanship seminars. Silvia is a current director and instructor for Canadian Horse and Animal Physiotherapists (C.H.A.P.)

Silvia and her husband Rolly share their home with their two animal-fanatic children, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse, several fish and a variety of foster pets.
