As the founding team of the AHL, the Niagara on the Lake Wolverines main goal has been to be competative. Their philosophy is to buy quality players while always looking for that diamond in the rough. Known around the league for not being scared to pull the trigger, the Wolverines are arguably the most tradable team in the AHL. Heading into the new millenium, and with all the Y2K bugs out of their software, the Wolverines are poised to dominate the next century. Never afraid to break new ground, the Wolverines have coined the following phase: "Anybody can win this thing but it takes great skill to finish 5th". The Wolverines are proud to have accomplished that feat twice!
