Profile:
The Moondogs have had many building phases in their AHL life span with limited success. While building their team generally through the draft they have also gone other routes to bring players to their team. While getting Jere Lehtinen as their first player via a trade they also got stars,
such as former goalie Ed Belfour, through the waiver wire. Their current management system has always had the philosophy that they will build around their younger players with a few yearly veterans to fill up their roster spots.
As they say in East Kildonanakstan: "Always say that you have a plan, even if it is a bad one".
