Profile:
Born out amongst the trees in the deepest part of the prairie forest, the "Sticks" grew up playing hockey with the stiffest of competition. Having learned how to play in the coldest of the Molson Canadian winters on the local Pee Pot Plains ponds with frozen moose pucks (produced locally on Pee Pot Plains Community Club Rink #1), they learned how to shovel the shit with the best. They have practiced long and hard.
Finding no competition for their hockey knowledge and beer drinking skills in the boonies of Saskabush, they aspired to the Armchair Hockey League. Over many winters, they have faithfully saved their beer can tabs and finally were able to buy a franchise in 1998.
Injuries to several key players hampered the LONGSTICKS H.C. effort for expansion team supremacy earlier in their careers. However, the return of these players, when coupled with a defense that has been improved through trades, have allowed the LONGSTICKS H.C. to shoot to the top.
