2nd in the AHL Championship in their inaugural season, the best finish ever by a first-year
franchise, they then won both the AHL Championship and President's
Cup three years later. Lame Duck has spared no expense in the expansion draft by acquiring high-priced veterans. Good drafting and good fortune
