Canadian cowboy
Country singer Tim Hus provided an intimate concert in a local garage as part of the Old Fire Hall Pub Night, Oct. 1. Elections Canada is currently occupying the site typically used for the Dauphin and District Allied Arts Council pub nights. Hus performed Canadian inspired songs from his albums Bush Pilot Buckaroo, Huskies and Husqvarnas, Alberta Crude and Songs of the West.

Whole lotta Music
AC/DC tribute band Whole Lotta Angus played to an enthusiastic crowd at the Watson Art Centre, Sept. 26. The evening fund-raiser included AC/DC trivia and an Angus look-a-like contest.

“BACK TO BASICS”

BOB ROSS OIL PAINTING
Saturday October 11, 2008 – 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Instructor - Bill Andrews is a certified Bob Ross instructor.
It is a method of wet on wet oil painting and no
experience is necessary. Everyone leaves with a finished
18” x 24” finished painting. Members $85.00, Non-
Members $95, includes all materials.


BEGINNER STAINED GLASS
Saturday, October 25, 2008 - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Instructor Cheryl Hulley. Members $40.00, Non-Members

$50.00 (includes some supplies). A supply sheet for
additional supplies is available at registration.


CHILDREN / YOUTH BEGINNER ART
WORKSHOP - SELF PORTRAIT
Saturday, November 22, 2008 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Instructor - Jennifer Dyck. A fun and interesting way for

children and youth to begin exploring their interest in art.
Members $17.50, Non-Members $22.00


BEGINNER WATER COLOUR
Six Thursday evenings 7:00 to 10:00 pm, beginning
January 15, 2009. Instructor Marilyn Park brings her skills,
knowledge and talent to this fun and challenging
workshop. Supply sheet available at registration. Members
$48.00, Non-Members $60.00.
