Carberry Plains
Archives offers these services to the public:
- The staff and
volunteers of
the Archives are willing to help researchers with their
search for information, However, this is very
time-consuming and therefore, we must charge for
this service.
- for the
citizens of the Town of Carberry and the RM of North
Cypress, one hour of research FREE OF CHARGE done
by our experienced volunteers. This service does not include the
cost of copying microfilm, documents or photographs.
(photocopies are available at 50¢ per copy)
- for all other
researchers, there is a charge of $20.00 for the first
hour of research and a charge of
$10.00 for each subsequent hour of research. Charges for copying microfilm, documents or
photographs are extra.
- The Carberry
Plains Archives is always interested in receiving new
materials for our collection. We are quite happy to
consult with potential donors about the value of articles
they feel might be of interest to the archives, and will
visit their homes to do so if they wish.
- Carberry Plains
Archives staff are available also to participate in school
or community projects that may benefit from the use of
articles or information contained in the archives
(provided this use does not infringe on copyright or
privacy concerns).
- Carberry Plains
Archives has in its collection a great number of
photographs of interest. We control the use of these
photographs closely and recommend that those who wish to
use Archive photographs for any reason read our policies
concerning their use.
