The collections of
the Archives provide a vivid picture of the growth,
development and activities of the people of the area.
The people of our
community are aware of the value of the Archives to their
daily lives, and willingly donate their personal records to
their local archives, preferring, as one donor said, to keep
his records "close to home"
Our collection
consists of:
- Family
histories done by residents of the area
- Collections of
photographs
- Photograph
collection of the Carberry News-Express
- Cemetery
records for Carberry Cemetery and for several other nearby
cemeteries (updates are currently being planned)
- History books
of Carberry and various other towns and areas in the RM of
North Cypress.
- Records of
various local organizations such as the 4H, Horticultural
Society, Carberry Child Care Co-op, and others
- Personal
collections of various interesting citizens
- Oral histories
of many of Carberry's early and prominent citizens
- Homestead maps
- Bound copies of
the local newspapers
- Records of some
of the early businesses of the area

for the town date back to the late 1800's while those of
the RM date back only to the 1930's due to the loss of
earlier records in a fire)
