Synopsis of Story:

“PETUNIA  The Naughty, Little Lamb” is based on a true story.  It started on a bright April afternoon.   A small lamb was bawling plaintively out by the garden.  It had appeared out of nowhere.  No one came to claim her so she stayed.   She took an instant liking to the man of the house for he cared for her, giving her grain and fresh places to eat.  The lady of the house did not share the same sentiments towards the lamb as the lamb did things she did not appreciate.  This rhythmic picture book expresses the frustration she was to the lady of the house.  It is a fun way of dealing with a sheep that is a “naughty, little lamb.”

Excerpts

Bubble, Bubble, Pop!

Oh, To Be A Child Again

Oh, to be a child again.
Easily pleased,
Imaginative- free from self inflicted boundaries,
Full of life, love and awe,
Oh, to let my inner child free.
Free to enjoy,
Free to play,
Free to fly,
Free to be the true ME.
So I release the fear.
I silence the inner chidings
And avoid the judgmental, the unkind.
I say,
“Hello, inner child.
How are you, today?”
“Happy,” she replies.
“Me too,” I tell her.
“Good,” she says. “
Let’s play!”
I say, “Let’s fly!”
