George was born about 1815 in Merton in Surrey.
He died in 1912 in Chorley, Lancs at the age of 97.
He moved to Chorley about 1870 to follow his trade as a silkscreen printer.
All we know about Alice is that she lived in Chorley or Coppull in Lancs. She doesn't live there anymore.

Arthur was born 16 Mar 1859. He died in 1934. Lived in Chorley. Married Elizabeth Ireland, born 1859 and died 1911.
Arthur was a Sergeant Major in the British Army.
It is believed James went to the USA or perhaps Canada in the early 1900s.
Albert Henry died 8 Oct 1865.
Walter died 29 Sept 1855.
William was born in 1825 in Mitcham in Surrey. In 1881 the family was living at 252 Moor Road in Chorley. In 1891 he was still living in Chorley and at 66 years old was still working in the silk screen printing trade. William married Sarah Brown 12 Oct 1845 in the Streatham parish church. A copy of the marriage certificate is on the certificates page. Sarah Brown was born on 13 July 1826 and died on 29 July 1865. So she was just 19 when married (the marriage certificate says 20) and just 39 when she died. The first of nine children was born 6 months after the wedding. William died in 1912.

Living with them in 1891 was his son, Herbert (22) , and his wife Elizabeth (23). Herbert was a general labourer, and his wife was a cotton weaver. Elizabeth was born in Newmills in Derbyshire.
