SHEILA DAVIS is the author of THE CRAFT OF LYRIC WRITING. The course will be facilitated by Angela Fiebelkorn.
Sheila Davis is a gold-record lyricist, composer, teacher and consultant
on the creative process. Her professional affiliations include ASCAP,
the Dramatists Guild, the Advisory Board of the Los Angeles Songwriters
Showcase and the Songwriters Guild of America, where, as Executive Vice
President in the mid-70's she created their Songwriter Critique and Ask-a-pro
programs. She is a recipient of ASCAP's Deems Taylor Award for journalism
, a contributor to The Encyclopedia of Rhetoric, and author of The Craft
of Lyric Writing and The Songwriters Idea Book. Besides her classes
at the New School in New York, she conducts songwriting seminars and workshops
around the country.
