As of 1998, the Fiebelkorn family in Canada are all descendants from one couple: Johann LUDWIG and Mathilda (Schendel) Fiebelkorn. Their story is given beginning with the Canadian Fiebelkorn History OVERVIEW.
The Fiebelkorn family originally settled in the province of Manitoba. Firstly, they settled in the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie outside of Steinbach, MB. Then they moved to the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead (in the Beausejour area).
