Indoor/Outdoor shooting all year round. We have a 20 yard indoor range for handgun and .22 rimfire rifle shooting. The indoor range has 18 shooting positions.

We have five outdoor ranges. One 25yard/50yard pistol range. One four position turning target International Rapid Fire pistol range (only one in Manitoba). One 50 meter small bore rifle range. One baffled 100 yard full bore rifle range. A shotgun range with a nice and slow  thrower for higher scores. All outdoor ranges, except the shotgun range, have covered firing points. For a birds eye view look at an aerial shot of our gun ranges.

The Rapid Fire range also doubles as our steel plate range with both falling plates and spring supported non-falling plates. Shooting paper targets is satisfying but shooting steel is fun.

The outdoor ranges are open from 8am until sunset. The Winnipeg Revolver & Pistol club house and indoor range are open 7pm ~11pm Monday and Thursday all year except when closed for statutory holidays. We can be contacted by phone at 338-3310 when the indoor range is open, or with  email wrpa.

If you require the Canadian Firearms Safety Course or the Canadian Restricted Firearm Safety Course check out our Courses link.

Barry has been running a Cowboy Action course this season. Pictures from the last day are here. Have a look at some pictures from last year.

Our cowboy action shooting program is going strong. If you are visiting Winnipeg, and are in when we have a match, you are welcome to come down. Spectators are welcome.

Off and on we put on a Black Powder match. Interesting shooting and a lot of fun. A variety of different guns.  If you want to see what a black powder match is about check out the pictures on the Black Powder Muzzle Loading Primitive shooting event page. Rules: Any Muzzle Loading Rifle any sights. Note this is a primitive shoot and the norm is iron sights and round ball. Mid range loads is all that’s needed, as most targets are at close range. Make sure you are sighted in for close targets. Aside from hard safety rules our number one rule is to come and have fun.

If you are looking to sell a handgun then take a look at a gun photography for dummies page I made. More about how to get pleasing lighting for the gun photo with next to no cost rather that a camera course. If you can take a better picture of your handgun then you will have an easier time to sell it as the buyers will feel more comfortable about what they will get. Very important if you are dealing over the internet.
