Mood Disorders Program 

The Mood Disorders Program of the Health Sciences Centre is a multidisciplinary clinical service providing comprehensive assessment and treatment for individuals with a wide range of mood disorders including chronic and acute conditions. The Program provides these services through a dedicated inpatient unit, day-hospital service, consultation clinics, outpatient follow-up clinics, cognitive behavioral therapy groups and an electroconvulsive therapy service. A physician referral is required to access clinical services through the Mood Disorders Program.

The Medical Director of the Mood Disorders Program is Dr. Murray Enns. Requests for assessment and/or treatment can be directed to Dr. Enns at the PsycHealth Centre: PZ-430 771 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 3N4.

Members of the Mood Disorders Program are actively involved in a wide range of research endeavors in collaboration with members of the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Research Group. At any given time, several clinical trials evaluating new treatments for depression and anxiety disorders are being conducted. For information about current clinical trials, interested persons can contact the clinical trials coordinator at 787-3923.
