Mariette is currently in the Community Health Sciences Ph.D. program at the University of Manitoba. She is being supported by a Canadian Institute of Health Research scholarship. Her main research interests are adverse childhood experiences, the relationship between mental and physical health , mental health services utilization, assessment of disability and social consequences in anxiety disorders and risk factor research . She has also been working for the past ten years on a variety of anxiety disorders research projects which have been epidemiologic, pharmacological, psychological and physiological in nature.
