" Iris Rountree's vestments are the unique result of a passionate engagement with texture, colour and strong design. Her one-of-a-kind pieces interpret the natural world through bold vision supported by technical excellence." -- L.W.

Iris designs and creates art works for sacred and secular settings.

Her most recent work, "Yamaya's Cloak," was accepted for hanging in the Grand National: Fantasy competition at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, May-July 2007.

The "Creation" frontal [collection of The Bishop Strachan School, Toronto] will be part of two art exhibitions in 2007: in Winnipeg, Manitoba [June] and in Guelph, Ontario [October].

Inquiries regarding commissions are welcome. Iris enjoys consulting with groups who wish to create works for their own worship spaces.
