Road Running Course Measurement

Measurers and Certifiers in Canada

Procedures Manual

In Canada, it is not necessary to receive training to measure a course, anyone who obtains a Jones-Oerth Counter and follows the steps outlined in the Procedures Manual can apply for certification. To become recognized by the IAAF and AIMS, it is necessary to attend a seminar given by a "Grade A" measurer and to subsequently apply for certification of a certain number of courses.
