Hovercraft For Sale 4,500.00 CAN  OBO

Welcome to my hovercraft WebPages. My name is Bruce Einarson and live in Manitoba Canada. On these pages you will find my construction of a Universal Hovercraft 13p. Modified

I have decided to sell this Hovercraft. The Main reason is that I enjoyed the build so much I would like to build another but have no room to do so.

This craft has been showcases on Universal Hovercraft Site url http://www.hovercraft.com/menu_builders.html under 13P.

Specifications:

Craft type UH13P - 2 engine
Capacity  - 2 persons -

Thrust Engine - 503 Rotax - 47 hp - rebuilt
Lift Engine - 10.5 Briggs - New 15 hr use
Width - 6 feet 3 inch
Length - 13 feet 10 inch
Weight - 530 lb empty
COG - 63 inch from back of hull.
Thrust Duct - 54 inch
Thrust Duct gap - less than 1/4.
Prop - 54/50
Drive pulley - 3.25
Driven Pulley - 10.8
Thrust - 300lbs

Speed - I do not know what speed this craft is capable of. I have had it over 50mph on snow and 40 - 50mph on water and still had lots of throttle left. Taking this craft above this speed will require a more experienced driver than myself.

My best guess, based on Thrust lbs and weight would be 60 + mph on snow, 50+ mph on water.

This craft does not come with a trailer, transportation of craft is left to the buyer.

Additional stuff:

Uh 13P plans

2 tiny tachs ( I could never get the thrust one to work)

Please contact me at mailto:bruce.einarson@mts.ca if you are interested or have any questions. I have kept this craft in good condition.

This is some video of me goofing around the Lake. I had made some engine modifications and was eager to try out the new Thrust Gains. This is a completely different craft than it was before the changes. Very Fast, Very Responsive.  I tried to open it up but lost my nerve, I will need to practice awhile before I do this. The craft acts very different once you get up in speed, I think I had it well in the 45 - 55mph range before I backed off.  Anyway here I am practicing flying , going around 1/2 - 2/3 throttle.
