Biography of Clint

Welcome to Clint Robertson's Jacobin web site. Clint lives near Amaranth, Manitoba, Canada.

Clint started breeding and showing Jacobins in 1979 with Yellows from the late and very talented breeder Dave Loewen of Winnipeg.

Clint is a rancher specializing in raising Charolais cattle. Clint has been involved in raising Jacobin pigeons for over 25 years.

The Universal Jacobin

This portrait was commisioned by Clint Robertson and done by artist Gary Romig. Over a period of 6 weeks with continuous discussion and more revisions and changes than I can recall we finally came up with this profile of my Ideal Jacobin. This picture is the best we could do to put my vision of the Ideal Jacobin into something that I may not have otherwise been able to put into words. I thank Gary for his patience and expertise. Clint Robertson: Our New CPFA President.

The board of Directors is pleased to announce that Clint Robertson, of Amaranth, Manitoba, is the new President of the Canadian Pigeon Fanciers Association. Clint is an internationally known breeder of Jacobins, and an enthusiastic writer and activist in the hobby of pigeon keeping. As the photo above suggests he is a true promoter of the idea that breeding and showing pigeons can be a family hobby.

Clint, right is shown here with two of his three sons, Justin, to his right, Max, lower left, and Ty, not shown, who are all pigeon enthusiasts.

On the upper left is Clint DeBoni, Jacobin breeder from Australia, who at the time of the photo, was visiting the lofts at the family's Bar-J Ranch.
